Newton Promoted at Century National Bank

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Patrick L. Nash, President and CEO of Century National Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason J. Newton to Banking Officer.

Jason Newton began his career with Century National Bank in June of 2013. Newton joined the Mortgage Processing Department before advancing to a Management Associate position, and then joining the South Zanesville office as a Personal Banker in May of 2014. He was promoted to Assistant Banking Center Manager of the South office in April of 2015, to Administrative Manager in March of 2017, and Administrative Officer in July of 2017. Newton became Banking Center Manager of Century’s Brandywine office in October of 2017.

Newton is a Zanesville High School graduate, and attended Muskingum University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in business and accounting. Newton is a lifelong resident of Zanesville, and enjoys giving back to his community. Newton volunteers for many organizations and is currently the treasurer of the Knights of Columbus Council 505. Newton also enjoys being active within the bowling community.

Newton lives in Zanesville with his wife, Samantha, and their daughter, Brynn.
