Promotions at Century National Bank
ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Patrick L. Nash, President & CEO of Century National Bank, is proud to announce the promotion of Noelle Jarrett, Joe Murphy, Jason Wilhelm, Kayla Renner and Brittany Stubbs. Jarrett has been promoted to Banking Officer, Murphy to Banking Officer and Trust Officer, Wilhelm to Administrative Officer, Renner to Administrative Manager and Stubbs to Administrative Manager.
Noelle Jarrett began her career with Century National Bank (formerly First Federal Savings Bank) in June 1992. She started at the bank’s Military Banking Center, before accepting a position at the Main Office in New Accounts and IRA Administration. Jarrett moved to the Customer Service Department in 1996 as manager, and returned to the Military Banking Center, as assistant manager, two years later. In her time at the Military Banking Center, Jarrett became manager in 1999, Administrative Manager in 2008, Administrative Officer in 2010, and will now serve as Banking Officer.
Jarrett is a very active volunteer with the United Way. She has served on its Advisory Board, its Business Division and also as a Loaned Executive for two years. In addition to her United Way involvement, she also serves as the treasurer of the Philo Athletic Boosters, volunteers for several activities within the Franklin Local School District, and other community activities including The Carr Center Cake Auction, Helen Purcell Lunch with the Asters, and Chamber of Commerce Festival of Trees.
A graduate from West Muskingum High School, Jarrett attended Ohio University in Zanesville. She and her husband, Shawn, reside in Zanesville, and have two children, Logan and Lacey.
William Joseph Murphy joined Century National Bank’s trust and investment team in December of 2011. Beginning his banking career with Century National Bank in 2002, Murphy later served as a trust administrator and financial advisor at the Park National Bank in Newark, and as a trust administrator with Wells Fargo Wealth Management in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Since his return to Century, Murphy has been an integral member of the trust and investment team and will now serve as Banking Officer and Trust Officer.
Murphy graduated from West Muskingum High School and earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in economics from The Ohio State University. He resides in Zanesville with his wife, Sara, and their three children, Miley, Bella and Will.
In November 2012, Jason Wilhelm began his career with Century National Bank as a Management Associate. Wilhelm was named Management Associate Training Coordinator in March 2014, and Administrative Manager a few months later. He will continue to serve in the Bank’s Human Resources Department as an Administrative Officer.
Wilhelm earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts Management and MBA from West Virginia Wesleyan College. He pursued his doctoral studies at Capella University in the field of Operations and Management.
Wilhelm and his wife, Katherine, reside in Zanesville with their three children; Alexis, Ayden and Kason. He is active in local organizations including the United Way, Forever Dads, and Leadership Muskingum.
Kayla Renner joined the Bank’s South Zanesville Banking Center as a part-time teller in February of 2002. During her tenure at the South Zanesville Banking Center, she advanced to head teller, personal banker, and assistant manager. Renner is currently the manager of the East Zanesville Banking Center, and will continue to serve in this role as an Administrative Manager.
A graduate of West Muskingum High School, Renner earned her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. She enjoys volunteering her time with organizations such as the United Way, which she most recently served as a Loaned Executive.
Renner resides in Zanesville with her son, Kade.
Brittany Stubbs started her banking career with Park National Bank in August 2009. She began serving as Century National Bank’s Marketing Manager in 2011. Stubbs will continue as the Bank’s Marketing Manager as an Administrative Manager.
Stubbs earned her bachelor’s degree from the College of Business at Ohio University. She is an active member of The Carr Center’s Board of Directors, the Zanesville-Muskingum County Convention and Visitors Bureau Committee, and volunteers her time at several community events such as the March of Dimes March for Babies.
Stubbs resides in Nashport with her husband, Justin, and daughter, Quinnlyn.
