Transitions at Century National Bank’s Logan Office

LOGAN, Ohio – Patrick L. Nash, President & CEO of Century National Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Joel Kupchik and a new position for Paula J. Stewart. Kupchik has been promoted to the assistant banking center manager of the Logan office and Stewart will begin in her new role as a regional mortgage lender.

Paula Stewart joined Century National Bank in 2012 as a personal banker at the Logan Banking Center. In April 2013, Stewart was promoted to the Logan banking center manager. She joined the Athens Banking Center in January 2016 as the banking center manager and has over 40 years of banking experience.

In her new role as a regional mortgage lender, Stewart will serve clients in the Athens, Hocking and Perry County markets. She will work mostly with clients seeking home loans and home equity lines of credit.

Stewart attended Illinois Central College. She enjoys volunteering her time with local organizations such as the United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Stewart resides in Logan. She has two children, Natalie and Allison, and seven grandchildren, MaKenna, Charle, Marina, Anna, Vinnie, Tracy and Steven.

Joel Kupchik will transition from personal banker to assistant manager of the Logan Office. He has been a part of Century’s team in Logan for three years with over 20 years of experience.

Kupchik joined the bank as a personal banker, and was promoted to an administrative officer in July of 2017. He will continue assisting clients seeking deposit accounts, home loans, as well as loans for new and used vehicles, RVs, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, and more.

A graduate of Nelsonville York High School, Kupchik enjoys serving the local community in several ways, including serving as an ambassador for the Hocking County Chamber of Commerce.

Kupchik and his wife, Sonya, reside in Nelsonville. The couple have five children, Josh, Chris, Megan, Nick and Amanda.
