Transitions for Century National Bank’s Athens Office

ATHENS, Ohio – Patrick L. Nash, President & CEO of Century National Bank, is pleased to announce a new position for Paula J. Stewart, and the promotion of Autumn S. Barber and Briana L. Hamilton. Stewart will begin in her new role as a regional mortgage originator, Barber will serve as the Athens banking center manager, and Hamilton will transition to a personal banker.

Paula Stewart joined Century National Bank in 2012 as a personal banker at the Logan Banking Center. In April 2013, Stewart was promoted to the Logan banking center manager. She joined the Athens Banking Center in January 2016 as the banking center manager and has over 40 years of banking experience.

In her new role as a regional mortgage originator, Stewart will serve clients in the Athens, Hocking and Perry County markets. Stewart will work mostly with clients seeking home loans and home equity lines of credit.

Stewart attended Illinois Central College. She enjoys volunteering her time with local organizations such as the United Way and Habitat for Humanity.

Stewart resides in Logan. She has two children, Natalie and Allison, and seven grandchildren, MaKenna, Charle, Marina, Anna, Vinnie, Tracy and Steven.

Autumn Barber has been promoted to the role of Athens banking center manager. Barber joined Park National Bank, an affiliate of Century National Bank, in 2012 as a retirement plan specialist in their Trust and Investments department. In 2015, she transferred to Century’s Athens office as a personal banker.

Barber attended New Lexington High School and graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Ohio University. She is a resident of Athens.

Briana Hamilton has transitioned into a personal banker role at Century’s Athens office. In this new position, Hamilton will assist clients with all types of deposit and loan products.

Hamilton initially joined Century National Bank in 2012 as a teller at the Logan office. She was promoted to a personal banker in 2013, and served in this role for a few years. Hamilton returned to Century as a sales administrator in February of 2018 in the Athens office.

A Miller High School graduate, Hamilton and her husband Matthew reside in Congo. They have two children Landon and Emalynn.
