Wells Joins Century National Bank
New Philadelphia, Ohio – Alton P. Thompson, Senior Vice President at Century National Bank, is pleased to announce the addition of Brian E. Wells to the New Philadelphia lending center. Wells joins Century as a Commercial Lending Vice President.

Wells brings 15 years of banking experience with him to Century National Bank. He has served in several banking roles serving the Tuscarawas County and surrounding areas. Wells most recent experience was specializing in assisting commercial clients, which he will continue to do at Century National Bank.

A New Philadelphia High School graduate, Wells attended Kent State University and Otterbein University. Civically, Wells is very active in his community. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Better Business Bureau Canton Region and Greater West Virginia and was previously a board member of Jackson-Belden Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals. Wells also volunteers his time with organizations such as the New Philadelphia Quaker Club and New Philadelphia Lions Club. In 2008, Wells was named one of Tuscarawas County Chamber of Commerce’s 20 under 40 Business Leaders.
Wells and his wife, Tamra, reside in New Philadelphia and have two daughters, Aubrie and Katelyn.
